It's for the holidays =) You can find this information under the "Return and Refund Policy" section (near the bottom) at the following website:

    Unhappy

I see another problem with this new firmware that has not been mentioned before, at least that's what I think.

You won't be able to flash your firmware except with a newer version of it. This has another implication, not only will stop you from unlocking one version until the next one is released, but also if you accidentally upgrade your version, there will be no downgrading, so you'll be stuck with a brick until a newer version is released.

So we'll have to be extra careful when sincying with itunes, if you do it in auto-idiotic mode you'll end up suffering.

And it isn't the "1015" error you're supposed to get, right? Just to be sure

Why spend a sheitload of their money to do this, when the hacker community will do it for them for free??

It would not surprise me to see an updated bootloader for each new firmware release.

Best hope is that they make "mistakes" along the way...

Sad to say, but I expect that software unlocks will slowly slip away.
I hope this is not the case... I do remember people saying the same thing about PSP homebrew too... And we all know how that turned out

    now for the people saying

It would not surprise me to see an updated bootloader for each new firmware release.

this not going to happen because none update has become with a new booloader, the bootloader is fixed in hardware, just the baseband has changed and each baseband upgrade come with a new secpack, so we must wait for a new iphone update WITH baseband upgrade, if not baseband upgrade included then no new secpack and we
will have a brick some time.

So, dont panic, just wait, donate and cross your fingers

    sorry my poor english

By the way: thanks dev (dream ) team, good work

    idea

so if we can't unlock 112 with 4.6
and we can't downgrade the baseband
and we can't downgrade the bootloader
and we can't really hack the communication between itunes and iphone during unlock

so. what do we know. we know that you have to submit the imei number to itune to get the phones in germany unlocked...
so what about if, we change the imei to the german imei? is that possible? and activate it this way.

It is too dangerous to include new bootloader with new firmware release, though I think it can be done.

if apple include a bootloader in the upgrade (you right, can be posible) but in the middle of the update process you have a problem and you mess the bootloader you will have a brick not recoverable by software update, that is the risk and the reason to apple dont include a bootloader
