Have you tried restoring it to 1.1.2?

    Apple
    sucks.
    Microsoft rules.

    TurboSIM-like methods? No way.

    - Unlocked Week 47 1.1.3 iPhone, baseband 04.04.05_G.
    - Bought in Minneapolis, MN;
    - Currently on TIM carrier.

I'm not here to find help. I'm here to help others and give back what I've learned from Hackint0sh.

What went wrong during the first Hardware unlocking process? Did anything go wrong at all? Did you get a "baseband unresponsive to pinging" message?

Well, i followed the first i.unlock.no tutorial. There was something wrong with the files i think, beacuse i had the problem before i ever tried the H/W unlock process ( well i opened the phone and followed the tutorial as described in the
"tut" ) But got the "Iphone need repair" message before i ever started with the ienew/uenew procedure..

    sry for bad english

Here it is, i guess u should follow this from step 6 or restart the procedure from the beginning :

    1. use itunes 7.4 ( download it from oldapps.com) maybe it works with other versions too, but fror me 7.4 is the 100% working
    2. download the 1.0.2 fw from apple
    3. put the phone into DFU mode
    4. restore with itunes to 1.0.2 it will give you a failure message, and a yellow triangle on the phone screen
    5. with ibrickr 0.91 u can kick the phone out of that state ( before dont forget to quit all itunes processes at the process manager )
    6. with ibrickr install the pxl daemon
    7. install VT100 terminal, and BSD subsystem thru ibrickr
    8. get a working 3.9nor file, ant the 112otb pack, and unpack the contents to a directory on your PC
112otb pack can be found here : http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=23730
nor3.9 can be found here :
    http://therepository.binarytide.com/nor3.9.rar

    9. with ibrickr upload all the files to your phone usr/bin directory
    10. chmod 777 all of them ( i made it one by one )

    open terminal

    launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist

    cd /usr/bin/

    ienew

after this is no matter if you get an error message or not, i mean waiting for data or something like that
if it runs thru perfectly, its doesnt matter too.

    now:
    sleep 20; iunew

it means that you have 20 seconds to connect the testpoints.

connect them and wait for about a minute, then release them
check out the screen of the phone, normally you get a message " push a character and hit enter " or something like that.
    just wait till it finishez.

    After all of this done,

    type this:
bbupdater -e *.eep -f *.fls and hit enter

    it will reflash the baseband.

    when it finish:

    launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist

    it will reload the commcenter

    run " bbupdater -v"

normally u'll see the baseband version etc..
from now on, u have correct imei, wifi working, etc.

Quit from terminal, or just push the home button.

Put the phone into DFU mode
with itunes update the firmware manually to 1.1.1, it must finish without any error.

when your phone is booted, u'll see the activation screen.
activate your phone as its written here :
    http://iphone.unlock.no/#Bypass-Acti...-and-Jailbreak

after all make the unlocking procedure with anysim 1.1. Procedure is written here:
    http://iphone.unlock.no/#Unlock-the-SIM-lock

it is okay, because previously you unloaded it when you failed to do iunew first.

i guess you ran "launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist"
when you finished the baseband reflashing dont forget to load the commcenter with the -w parameter.

dont worry, just make the next steps

hmm...wait, u started the downgrade process without bsd subsystem? Sounds interesting.

You got Spamming AT message because u have wrong nor file i guess, because the nor file is the Bootloader . But if its finished with success message, just load commcenter, quit from terminal, put your phone into DFU mode, and with iTunes update or restore the firmware to 1.1.1
After if its done, i think will be done without any error , just jailbreak and activate it with the method from iphone.unlock.no as a normal 1.1.1
At the and u can unlock it with anysim installed from installer app.

    Sorry for my bad english
