HW unlock success pool

I´m wondering how many people have success unlocking the Iphone OTB 1.1.2 via hardware, and how many get bricked. This will help us to make a decision!

succeeded, no probs at all...
only the wifi was gone after ienew- so ALWAYS INSTALL MOBILE TERMINAL BEFORE U START DOWNGRADING

After 2 days sweating, I unbricked my HW downgraded 1.1.2 otb and is now working perfectly.

Ditto on the patience and terminal comments.

Man, this HW hack seems too risky

Can you guys also comment on what tools you used, and how much cosmetic damage there was after its put back together? Also, does the external shell fit snugly after? Trying to decide, thanks.

lots of errors nothing like the guide but working like a charm

cosmetic damage - mostly to my credit card
edges of the metal cover banded a bit outside - fixed it with an hair dryer
anyhow i have a silicon cover so don't really care for cosmetic even thou prob
solved.
