About LinkBacksWhen taking the metal cover off the comm board, be careful that the border metal that is left behind is not bent and touching any of the exposed comm board circuitry metal. I think I short circuited mine this way and is why my comm board is not working

just do a restore using shift or alt +itunes to 1.1.2

someone should put up a video just for that part of removing the metal cover for the comm board. i'm a little bit worried about messing up that part too! I took over 10 hours to accomplish the whole process.
Even though i'm a noob, i had previous experience opening a MacBook succesfully without voiding my warranty.
The testpoint part was by far the most complicated... The circuitry is way smaller than I expected, and I had to try for almost four hours (over 80 times).
It wouldn't take so long if i realized my prozaic testpoint tool was not working in the first 1.5 hour (the wire I used was somehow broken in the inside).
After reasemble, the black plastic antenae cover became a little loose, but the aluminium case suffered no visible harm, neither the circuitry metal cover.
I have yet to learn how to upgrade my currently 1.1.1 unlocked/activated/jailbroken iphone to 1.1.2 unlocked/activated/jailbroken
Any help?

i can help u with the black antenna cover.... if its loose its not in right.
mine was loose for a day and i thought it had to be like that then i realised there was a very thin layer of plastic, where it touches the silver metal back, and that layer was supposed to go under the metal, using my nail to squish it under, now its not loose at all

All went well.. But my antenna case & metal case are both trashed.. Already ordered a new pair.. Soo.. I'll await those and just cover this up with a iphone case cover for now..
