    Default [1.1.2 OTB] HW Unlock failed - no baseband, no wifi

    I would be grateful for any help here people.

    I decided to attempt the hardware unlock for 1.1.2 otb w/ 4.6 bootloader a few days ago. I was on a 1.1.1 jailbroken system, and i had all the files correctly installed. I was using mobile terminal vt100 on my iphone, and had erased the baseband using 'ienew'. I tried to connect the testpoints after running the command 'sleep **; iunew', but it never seemed to work. In the end I got wound up by it, and (I know I shouldn't have done), but i turned the phone off completely, thinking I would be able to sort out the erased baseband - How wrong I was!

    Everytime I had attempted to restore to either 1.1.2 or 1.1.1 i recieved some errors (ones that I cannot remember), but I finally managed to get to 1.0.2 jailbroken, but without a baseband - so no wi-fi, no bluetooth, no imei, no iccid etc.

    I am looking for a way to get back to 1.1.2 otb like I got it out of the box (if this is possible) so I can get a turbo sim, and unlock it with that.

    I know that I could attempt the hardware unlock on 1.0.2 but I am wary of attempting this now, unless its the last resort.

    I've heard that updating to 1.1.3 can solve the no wifi problem, but I am want to be sure I have tried all the possible options before doing so.

    Any help would be grately appreciated

    P.s. I have searched for a solution for possibly most of the past two or so days to no avail.

    Once you got to jailbroken 1.0.2, did you try a 1.1.2 restore?

    Apple
    sucks.
    Microsoft rules.

    TurboSIM-like methods? No way.

    - Unlocked Week 47 1.1.3 iPhone, baseband 04.04.05_G.
    - Bought in Minneapolis, MN;
    - Currently on TIM carrier.

    I'm not here to find help. I'm here to help others and give back what I've learned from Hackint0sh.

    I tried an update to 1.1.2, but that just failed. I got the error message 1002. I am going to try the 1.1.2 restore now

    The restore gave the same error code - 1002. Can anyone else help?
