[1.1.2 OTB] How to use an old ATT sim card with it ?

I have old ATT Card (which signed before Singular). Can I use the Sim card with Iphone and Next Sim card?
If I inserted just the Att card into unlocked OTB 1.1.2 iphone screen showed me message wrong card.
How to use the old ATT card because I can't replace it to new one because of the very good promotion on Old ATT I had before.
Please advice me.

If your phone is UNLOCKED you can use any sim in the iphone.Dont have to buy a *sim.

The reason why its telling u that its the wrong sim is because your phone is probably not unlocked.

Are u talking about an 1.1.2 OTB phone that has been jailbroken/activated?Then it should recognize your ATT sim just like mine recognises my old Cingular sim.

However if u have an old old sim from ATT then I have read at some places that it will not work with a Jailbroken/Activated iphone.Dont remember why exactly.Keep your plan but get a new ATT sim.

This iphone OTB 1.1.2 is unlocked like others with Next SIM card and TMobile works ok. But If I insert old ATT card message says "INCORRECT SIM, You need to insert approved Sim Card".

This ATT card is 7 years old, from beginning ATT Network and it was promotion $99 for unlimited plan.
Now ATT don't likes to change the card for new one because they want to change my old plan to new one with high price so I really need to use my old ATT card with 1.1.2 Iphone

Yea I had a guy who brought me his SIM. IT WAS MADD OLD. He told me he signed up for the $99 plan and that AT&T was trying to get him to sign up for another plan lol.

His sim card worked no problem.

This was back in october the day 1.1.1 came out in iTunes.

it worked on a 1.02 unlocked via iUnlock

You don't need a Next Sim.

All you need to do is jailbreak your phone and stick the Sim in.

But when I put the old ATT card into 1.1.2 OTB Jailbroken,Activated I saw sign - "incorrect Sim,you must have approved sim".

This is not the right term.

*Sim solutions are not unlock. They are just a Hack to dupe the iPhone Baseband and make it believe the inserted simcard is a legit one.

The iPhone is usable as a phone but it is still locked.
