I was succesful with running iunew. I did NOT run bbupdater as the i.unlock guide said it was not needed. I then did the following:

1. restored 1.1.2
2. restored 1.1.1
3. Jailbroke with snap app
4. installed oktoprep
5. Updated to 1.1.2

Downloaded 1.1.2 jailbreak to my PC . Everytime I run jailbreak 1.1.2 I get a can not connect to device error, I have gone through steps 1-5 above like ten times.

Any suggestions.

Can I install any sim while at version 1.1.1 and unlock?

I have read everything , tried everything. just cant jailbreak. can i restore to 1.1.1. and load and old any sim and unlock . maybe my boot loader was not down graded. how can I check that

follow this guide from step 8....ignore the mac stuff and just do what's described...

no need to oktoprep....

summarizing...

after iunew

restore it to 1.1.2 in itunes
downgrade to 1.1.1 in itunes

run bbdowngrade from installer

restore again 1.1.1 in itunes

install anysim 1.1

and it's ok!!!

if gets stuck in recovery mode, boot it using jailbreak 1.1.2 or ibrickr just to boot!!!
