im pretty sure i fucked my phone pretty bad...i deleted the baseband, and downgrading it woudnt work, so i got pissed off and restored it to 1.1.1...and now it says that repair i needed, it wont even let me dial *#301# or anything...is there any way i can reflash the baseband? or is there anything i can do period??

the only way to reflash your baseband is to restore to 1.1.3, this will flash it with the latest baseband making your iphone not unlockable by software before 1.1.4 comes out..
are you sure you did everything possible? did you try to restore to 1.0.2 and jailbreak without wifi and install terminal and try iunew again? (i tried this and it didn't work with me, but it could work with you)

i think i have the same problem.. is an 1.1.2 otb iphone that were downgraded to 1.1.1 then someone atemped to unlock it multiple times and run a couple of virginizing scripts....

now im having a hard time trying to unbrick it....

i downgraded to 1.02 but the iphone is slow as hell until i unload the comm center...

im trying to fix the baseband (there is no baseband right now..) any hellp please?

What do you mean with "someone tried to unlock it multiple times"? hw unlock I suppose ...

no, software unlock.... someone that did not know that 1.1.2 arent unlockable by software...

they tired various versions of anysim and simfree

also i have no wifi... any help please?

zoahmed.. the only way to do that is to downgrade to 1.02 and then jailbreak it with ibrickr....

what about updating the firmware to 1.1.3? will that fix the issues.... ive heard of that...

then i downgrade to 1.1.1... i just wanna use it as an ipod touch... with wifi.... for now.... and get rid of that "iphone needs repair" message.....

I already wondered in the second thread how it's possible to erase the baseband without a 1.1.3 secpack (which can't be contained in the tools for 1.1.1).
But anyway... can't we just flash an image of the original baseband with bbupdater? I would rather do the testpoint method than update to 1.1.3.

it seems that firmware 1.1.3 fixed the problems..!!! i have sound now.. so i guess that it updated the baseband...

but now.. im stuck.....this is an 1.1.2 otb iphone (4.6 bootloader) but i cant downgrade it... it this version downgradable?
