hookay, so drg, the only thing we can do is to update to 1.1.3 and use it as an ipod touch a couple of months, or maybe date steve jobs daughter to get som nasty codes?

I think the only option is getting back to 1.0.2.

Some people report that the version of iTunes is what matters, not the week of the iPhone. Ive seen reports of success with iTune 7.3.

You will need to remove all of iTunes (all services and dlls, etc.) and reinstall. If you can get to 1.0.2 you can JB without a baseband and try the HW unlock again.

    Good luck guys !

Restore to 1.1.2 (following advices in this forum) - Error 1011
    Restore to 1.1.1 - Error 1011
    Restore to 1.0.2 - Error (1)

Service error on slide to unlock screen and no IMEI, ICCID, WIFI or sound. Dialpad does not respond to *#307#.

Every time restore to 1.1.2/1.1.1/1.02 - Same error as above

    I am using Mac

    Two options:
    1) restore 1.1.3 using itunes or restore using option key and locate 1.1.3 firmware files
    2) Use ibrickr and go to 1.0.2

Some has reported that 1.1.3 -> 1.1.2 is possible

I have tried that even on a new PC, my guess is that the week matters and Itunes version not. In fact, a lot of people with phones from week <48 have gone to 1.0.2 after no wifi/BB using itunes 7.5 and 7.6.

    Hi drg:

How about changing the secpack on the 1.0.2 firmware (file 009-7698-4.dmg offset 0x2129a4, and placing the secpack from 1.1.3?

1.0.2 looks unsigned to me, we may also need to replace the kernelcache.release.s5l8900xrb file on the 1.0.2 ipsw with the one on the 1.1.1 ipsw in order to get past the error (1).

Do you think it is worth a trial?

I will try it later at home.

    have fun,

    j.

That is an option and seems to fix everything, however it leaves you with an iPod touch until secpack 1.1.4.

    Hi DragonNegro:

This is known, but the you can NOT UNLOCK the iphone, not even downgrade the BL to 3.9, which is our main goal.

    have fun,

    j.

My advice is NOT TO UPGRADE to 1.1.3, you will have to wait for a new secpack on the 1.1.4 or some other solution.
