I think the only option is getting back to 1.0.2.
Some people report that the version of iTunes is what matters, not the week of the iPhone. Ive seen reports of success with iTune 7.3.
You will need to remove all of iTunes (all services and dlls, etc.) and reinstall. If you can get to 1.0.2 you can JB without a baseband and try the HW unlock again.
Good luck guys !
I posted a solution for downgrading from 1.1.3 to 1.1.2., after you lost wifi, dialing, etc.
Have fun !!

How about changing the secpack on the 1.0.2 firmware (file 009-7698-4.dmg offset 0x2129a4, and placing the secpack from 1.1.3?
1.0.2 looks unsigned to me, we may also need to replace the kernelcache.release.s5l8900xrb file on the 1.0.2 ipsw with the one on the 1.1.1 ipsw in order to get past the error (1).
Do you think it is worth a trial?
I will try it later at home.
