probably I have restored 1.1.2 <-> 1.1.1 about 10 times.

but still same problem...

I have done almost 20 restores between 1.1.2 -> 1.1.1 and still same errors.

Is it because my ienew ran partially? What is the way out?

PS: I am also getting the service error on the slide to unlock screen (may be because no IMEI and ICCID)

I have the same problem and i also restore between 1.1.2 -> 1.1.1, 10 to 15 times.
Somebody please help us.

because then you can not HW unlock it. It requires new secpac (1.1.4)

after unsuccessful HW unlock attempt i have no wifi imei sound iphone..

restore 1.1.2 -- error 1011
restore 1.1.1 -- error 1011
restore 1.0.2 -- never restores and iTunes stack with the message " Waiting for iphone"
restore 1.0.0 -- never restores and iTunes stack with the message " Waiting for iphone"

i tried DFU mode and iBrickr 0.91 red lcd green lcd...

after some trials with iBrickr phone restarted over and over again and some charcters numbers are scrolled down... i cant read much of them but there wrote kernel and some adresses or memoroy adresses and some numbers i dont know...

now i have a total brick and eventhough i can have world photo and dialpad it says "repair needed"

i hope there can be a jailbreak method soon for other versions....

Additional information: I am running itunes 7.5. After rebooting itunes is saying waiting for iphone and then something like "itunes cant be used with iphone, as there is no sim card inside. You have to insert sim in order to activate iphone."

As the iphone is open, I a not shure if I should input a ATT sim.

I did input the original ATT sim as well, same problem.

How can that be possible? when restoring to 1.1.2 or 1.1.1 it's not giving the baseband back?!? Im in the same situation, i was just about to make a new thread when i saw this. I cant push dial and I can get activation screen in 1.1.1 and 1.1.2, both says "iphone needs to be repaired"

The only way might be to upgrade to 1.1.3, get a new baseband, go back to 1.1.2, jailbreak. and use a 1.1.3 jailbreaked phone, and wait for 1.1.3 unlocking. Maybe there is some program so we could get the appsnapp (jailbreaking) files into the iphone trough the cabel into the right directory. jailbreak, and put the terminal and right files into the phone trough a program like putty or ssh, trough a cabel..

any ideas?

Try yhis and report please:

1-Downgrade to 1.0.2 with Ibrick
2-Jailbreak and activate
3-Install vt100 and BSDsubsystem with the plx files
4-Upload to /usr/bin the 112otb files and the Nor 3.9 file with Ibrick
5-Set permisions from vt100 to 777
6-Run ienew from vt100
7-Prepare testpoint and Run iunew from vt100
8-reboot
9-restore to 1.1.1 ( will get error 1011)
10-restore to 1.1.2, now you would have wifi, iccid, etc, again
