[1.1.2 OTB] GeoUnlocked > NO WIFI problem
I've been at it for 2 days, I've tried everything to no avail, so I'm offering $20 to anyone who can provide me a detailed step by step method to fix my "No Wifi" problem. Post your method, and I'll try it, if it works I'll send you $20 by Paypal.
As a recap here's what happened:
I have OTB 1.1.2, unlocked by Ghotz's method
-downgrade to 1.1.1, upgrade to 1.1.2, jailbreak
-installed 1.1.2 unlock via installer
Everything worked great...until I decided to update to 1.1.3
-without 'virginizing', i just plugged in my unlock 1.1.2 and updated via itunes.
-ran Ziphone 3.1 to unlock/jailbreak/activate.
The program ran without error...except now i got no Bluetooh/Wifi. I still get signal, and my IMEI is still there, my Modem firmware shows 4.03.13_G.
Anyone else with this problem feel free to offer money, we may get a fix sooner :p
Edit: forgot to mention that I tried BL downgrade in Ziphone, now i'm at 3.9

DFU mode, restore wiht iTunes to 1.1.3 and then ziphone -Z Y , this will unlock your phone for sure and fix the wi-fi problem. there is new GUI mode for ziphone 2.4 and you can choose to use it, but this one will fix for sure. To put to DFU mode - turn off your phone then turn it on holding power and home buttons together, when you see the apple release the power button and in 10 seconds you will get the "connect to iTunes" image on the phone and you can proceed with ziphone -Z Y

Still no WIFI

How do you recognize that there is no wi-fi? I got a phone from a person who was claiming he does not have wi-fi and just tried to my network and it connected and was working. Try
Try ziphone -Z Y
Or you can to downgread your modem and restore to 1.1.2 and unlock it.

You can do all these features with the new gui of ziphone 2.4 going to advanced features.
