Mmm but basically, is it possible to upgrade an 1.1.2 OTB through iTunes to 1.1.3, then downgrade and unlock to 1.1.2 and after that softupgrade to 1.1.3 so you can have an unlocked and fully working 1.1.3 ?!?

Yes (but not 1.1.3 through itunes), and make sure you follow the upgrade guides for the 1.1.1 & 1.1.2 jailbreak!!!

    Not exactly.
If you are planing to use Geohot's method (I'm sure you do), you will end up with 04.02.13 baseband, which will restrict you from using many of new features of 1.1.3, such as "locate me" for example.
Besides, doing that is meaningless, if you have 1.1.2 OTB jailbreaked (go jailbreak it if negative), just use Geohot's method in airplane mode and then (optionally) softupdate to 1.1.3

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks.

    Extracted from geohot' s blog:
"The third minor concern was the full range check of 1.1.3. So use 1.1.2 This allows full unsigned code execution, it is a relatively simple matter of patching the bootloader to skip the range check. And while you are at it, patch the bootloader to validate all tokens. IPSF style unlock w/o touching the seczone."

So, this unlock is like IPSF indeed ? In that case, there are very good news

Would a post-unlock iTunes upgrade to 1.1.3, followed by a downgrade and soft-update, result in a working jailbroken 1.1.3 phone? Or would lockdownd still be a problem?

Or is this just an anySIM-style unlock anyway for 1.1.2 baseband, despite geohot's confusing comments?
