Hi all,
First of all, thank you vally, you have give me some hope, i'm trying to find a second iphone to solve the "no BB week > 47" problem.

If you restored 1.1.3 then you should find secpack of 1.1.3 which --according to some folk-- only available with the new firmware upgrade.
If i'm not wrong there is a solution. Get a commboard from a "good" jailbreaked phone BB < 4.03.13, and place it on the "bad" iphone, then downgrade the BL to 3.9 using the H/W method and jailbreak/unlock it with firmware 1.1.1, place the 4.03.13 comm board back and follow this.
http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=25185
You should end up with a 1.1.3 BB 4.03.13 BL 3.9 jailbreaked and unlocked phone.
NOTE: I have NOT tested the above method and i don't have any upgraded 1.1.3 iphone, there are really few chances that I will test it, but it should work.

I have taken my commboard pretty easily, just desolder the battery and antenna connectors from comm board, then carefully take the commboard from the logic board, there is no need to remove the logic board, ifixit instructions are not so good regarding the commboard removal.
have fun,

Thanks valley. Comm board disassembly was no problem. Just to be clear, this simply gets the CommBoard down to a 3.0 BL, this will not restore wifi or IMEI #, so after we do this, do the hardware unlock, swap the board back, and then restore to 1.1.1, we *should* have wifi and IMEI back?
Thanks
Eve
UPDATE: Ok so I tried it, ienew reported Can't Write, so I assume there was no Bootloader present. I proceeded with Iunew and testpoint but I get "Spamming AT, waiting for a response", "Connection established to bootrom", "Bus Error".
DOES THE JAILBROKEN PHONE I INSTALL THE COMBOARD INTO HAVE TO BE ON 1.1.1 OR IS 1.1.2 OK?
Any ideas?

I donwgraded my 48th week phone to 1.0.2
People seem to wrongly conclude that it is not possible to downgrade >47th week phones to 1.0.2 firmware. I was able to downgrade my week 48 phone.
The 1.1.2->1.0.2 downgrade process took very long time for me, compared to other downgrades/upgrades. May be somewhere around 20-30mins or so. I guess patience is the key. May be you can try the path 1.1.2->1.1.1->1.0.2. At the end there is a yellow triangle in black background with some warning message. You can use ibrickr to come out of that state. Search this forum how to use ibrickr.

Ok got the testpoint to work, now trying to restore to 1.1.1 I get an error 1603, can't restore...?

DOWNGRADING iPhones week 44 and higher is possible!
Guide only for those who have baseband erased or had 04.03.13_G(accidental upgrade to 1.1.3) cause of step 1!
These are my steps
1) Clicked restore in iTunes without SHIFT
2) Uninstalled iTunes 7.6 and installed 7.3.1
3) Putted iPhone in DFU with ibrickr
4) clicked shift+restore in iTunes and select the 1.1.1 ipsw file
5) restore quited with 1015 error
6) booted the phone out of DFU with ibrickr
7) jailbreaked 1.1.1 with appsnapp and calling *#307#, 0, prefs://1F etc...
Step 4 is the hardest! didn't worked the first time, tried it a few time and then suddenly it worked.
Hope this will ya help out, i got back wifi, sound, imei, ccid

so you took the phone up to 1.1.3 on purpose and then back down?

yes, since i had nothing to lose.. why not try it ?
but my baseband was already 04.03.13_G !!!! Don't do this otherwise you can't do the hardware unlock from geohot....
-
I've already done the harware unlock. But I'm stuck with no wifi, no imei etc.
-
-
what is your baseband firmware ?
What happened during the hardware unlock?
-
can't see the baseband firmware because I can't get past the activation screen. I swapped the commboard into another unlocked phone to do the HW unlock, all went fine. This was after ienew had failed initially and erased the baseband....
