I used the nor file that is given in the hackint0sh HW unlocking guide fir 1.1.2 OTB
also becareful about opening the iphone..
there is a big risk to scratch your back case.... do it real slow..
also follow guides and videos on the internet.
also be very careful about removing the commboard if you dont have necessary tools dont do it.
u need a plastic and metal spudge.
also there are many sockets under the logicboard and be very patient and slow to connect them off and on.
Hardware is looking good although I get a can't write error when running ienew. Any clues?
chmod 777 *
i think that can solve cant write error
No there was nothing to erase when the bootloader was not present. I comenced with the crack iunew ... etc. After that I retried the crack procedure this time it worked.
After some reflashing the iPhone is back to life again.
Thanks to everybody.
It is possible to downgrade 100%
i have more than thousand iPhone made on the 48th week with bootloader 4.6 and 1.1.2 fw.
All i can say, is that it is possible to downgrade to 1.0.2
1. use itunes 7.4 ( download it from oldapps.com)
2. download the 1.0.2 fw from apple
3. put the phone into DFU mode
4. restore with itunes to 1.0.2 it will give you a failure message, and a yellow triangle on the phone screen
5. with ibrickr 0.91 u can kick the phone out of that state ( before dont forget to quit all itunes processes at the process manager )
6. with ibrickr install the pxl daemon
7. install VT100 terminal, and BSD subsystem thru ibrickr
8. get a working 3.9nor file, ant the 112otb pack, and unpack the contents to a directory on your PC
112otb pack can be found here : http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=23730
nor3.9 can be found here :
9. with ibrickr upload all the files to your phone usr/bin directory
10. chmod 777 all of them ( i made it one by one )
here comes the fun part: disassemble your phone, and make the bootloader downgrading as its written here step by step:
launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
after this is no matter if you get an error message or not, i mean waiting for data or something like that
if it runs thru perfectly, its doesnt matter too.
sleep 20; iunew
it means that you have 20 seconds to connect the testpoints.
connect them and wait for about a minute, then release them
check out the screen of the phone, normally you get a message " push a character and hit enter " or something like that.
just wait till it finishez.
After all of this done,
bbupdater -e *.eep -f *.fls and hit enter
it will reflash the baseband.
when it finish:
launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
it will reload the commcenter
run " bbupdater -v"
normally u'll see the baseband version etc..
from now on, u have correct imei, wifi working, etc.
Quit from terminal, or just push the home button.
Put the phone into DFU mode
with itunes update the firmware manually to 1.1.1, it must finish without any error.
when your phone is booted, u'll see the activation screen.
activate your phone as its written here :
after all make the unlocking procedure with anysim 1.1. Procedure is written here:
2 or 3 days ago i bricked an OTB 112 with bootloader 4.6, it was with erased baseband, no wifi, no imei, no nothing. I went thru this procedure, and i get back everything.
So i hope this guide will help to a lot of people because i seen that many of us having this kind of problems.
PS: Sorry for my bad english
dotlittle or valley, could you please write a how-to on this, it's the only way I'll get this phone to work...
ok I understand how to swap the boards. So I need to put the files on a directory on the working phone. meaning the bootloader downgrade package as well as the term program. once it boots, run term program and essentially do ienew and iunew, testpoint. Once this is done, the commboard should be fixed so you can swap it back to the other phone?
Is there any other solution to downgrade to 1.0.2 a week 50 iphone (NO IMEI, WIFI, etc) without a 2nd iphone?? because i dont have another one. I have been searching for days in the forums, tried almost every metod and nothing has worked for me, im stucked in the "waiting for iphone" message, i dont know what to do. Should i give up and try to upgrade to 1.1.3 to see if i can use my iphone at least as an ipod touch ??? HEEELLPPPPPPP..
Thanks and sorry for my bad english
Yes, A little help/tutorial would be helpful. I have a working iphone 1.1.2 oob and one that is bricked.
Ok, after reading it over and over, I think I got it. PLEASE VERIFY IF THIS IS RIGHT

4- Install the bricked iphone`s commboard into the working iphone.
5- now press top button and turn on the phone. wait for a while because it takes some time like a minute to see the jailbroken springboard.
From there, pretty much follow this tutorial?
Then, swap commboards or would it be fine to keep the bricked commboard into the working iphone?

again i want to tell you that it is really very hard to dissamble commboard from logicboard.. be very careful and analyze photos and guides about deinstalling those parts ... especiall it is really hard to plug sockets on the logic board back ... at least it was how that happened to me....
