Did the jailbreak to 1.1.3 with iclarified installer method.

Found the phone switched off for whatever reason tonight, battery almost fully charged....

Booting it, I will only find the "Connect to iTunes" screen

How to get out of there?

If in Mac OS, just fire iNdependence, and let phone restarts "by itself".

If in Windows, iBrickr and press Reboot It button to do the trick.

Or, the plain old and good method of
cmd setenv auto-boot true
cmd saveenv
cmd fsboot



Do not ask me why, but I find out sometimes after those up/down grades phone behavior is quite uncommon. And, at least with iNdependence, it does not move back to restore mode anymore (aka "Connect to iTunes" screen).

What JB installer did you use? I had the same problem with the first release of the dev team installer..?? Went back and redid the JB onto their latest version (well, actually I did realease 1, release 2, and I'm now on Release 3 (don't ask, I have no life with redoing it so many times on TWO iPhones!! ) - and that fixed that nagging problem..?!!

I had this after a hard reboot at work, I had to wait until I got home to fix.

Yes it will. It will happen again. Which is why I asked my question above. I don't feel like carrying my laptop in my pocket to kick my iPhone out of "restore". Apparently, others do.

Again - what JB do you have installed?

good to know this, next tiem i wont have to dowgrade and the install 1.1.1, 1.1.2, then back to 1.1.3

i used the installer method on iclarified.com

phone now still on connect to itunes screen

got my MAC with me, but no cable, so will try later
