    If an unlock is discovered, and it's based on a procedure that is unrelated to the jailbreak, then I would tend to think it will be released when it's tested and refined even if before the SDK is released.

    Why teasing us then? If the policy is that they won't release anything, then just don't say anything. Or if they decide that they can tell us but not release it, then just tell us that it's possible. But giving hints is kind of childish, isn't it?

    This is what Zibri wrote when GeoHot said it might not be possible to find a unlock to 1.1.2 in foreseeable future;
    Please everyone remember the words he just wrote !

    Because i am here betting whatever sum you want that a software unlock of 1.1.2 ootb IS INDEED POSSIBLE and IT WILL BE DONE.
    So it might well what he is trying to say.

    Why wait to release a 1.1.2 OOTB software unlock.

    Apple wont patch anything i the 1.1.2 firmware, but in the 1.1.3. So i se why they wait to release the a 1.1.3 JB and unlock, but not a 1.1.2 OOTB
