How to Jailbreak 1.1.2 OTB on Mac or XP..
I've read the tutorial on this forum..I followed it..
I've downgraded to 1.1.1 and jailbreak.. - no problem
I've updated to 1.1.2 - no problem..
I've downloaded jailbreak 1.1.2 - no problem
I check Install SSH and click Jailbreak..
NO..THIS IS THE PROBLEM..
I see every time - Cannot connect to you device!!!

I've downloaded the libreadline.5.2.dylib and copy it to Macintosh HD/opt/lib/libreadline.5.2.dylib

I tried it after (the jailbreak) - and no change..
Please..help..

I've noticed one thing..
When I Install OktoPep, it doesn't restart.. I don't know why.. I see it in category installed (when I click uninstall), but it doesn't restart..
Mabye its why I can't jailbreak..

At what point did you install Oktoprep? Because when you install it it doesnt require any reboots, it doesnt do anything after its installed. You just install it, it says its done, then update to 1.1.2, then jailbreak.

OK..I've done it just like you say.. Jailbreak, iktopep, update, but jailbreak of 1.1.2 doesn't work.. because of: cannot connect to device..

make sure itunes recognizes your iphone first, then close itunes.

make sure you're using the updated version of 1.1.2 jailbreak. I had some troubles with the old one..

nad how can I find, which version I use?.. I've downloaded it from develop. site..

im having almost the same problem today :-( after upgrading to 1.1.2 from iTunes, jailbreak gives me the error: install oktoprep before updating to 1.1.2 and thats what i did :-(
i also noticed earlier today that under the Update / Restore page on iTunes, there was a mesage stating something like this: ....get back after 6pm, scheduled maintenance on apple servers . . .
did apple maybe change anything on the updated 1.1.2 file? that is removing oktoprep or something like that?

couldnt update to 1.1.2, so currently on 1.1.1

You have to install oktoprep 1.1.1 before you update to 1.1.2 and then do the Jaibreak 1.1.2. I tried it yesterday and all went just fine.
