Hi guys


I downgraded the firmware to1.1.1, jailbraked, activated.
i tried to downgrade the the baseband on an unlocked 1.1.2 otb with bl 4.6 wk48
It erased the baseband and now im stuck at "Repair needed, iPhone cannot make or receive calls. " No sound, no nothing.

Is there anyone who can tell me/ write down a working method to get the baseband back to the phone?

Any help would be appriciated.

try updating to 1.1.2

Bricked means unrecoverable, i.e. as useful as a brick. A phone which has no end user way of recovering it is bricked, this is NOT a brick.

Did you do this as part of a hardware unlock?

No, i unlocked more than 100 phones with the hw method, but with this one i made a mistake, i wanted to try an another method for unlocking, but i've failed.

It was an out of the box 1.1.2, with bl 4.6. I downgraded the firmware to 1.1.1, jailbreaded, activated. After i installed bsd subsystem 2.0, and baseband downgrader. I executed baseband downgrader, and this was the mistake. it failed because of the 4.6 bootloader, and it erased the complete baseband.

Well... the same error has happened to me when I attempted the Hardware unlock. I just restored to 1.1.2 and everything worked fine then. I don't know if that helps at all, but you should give it a try.

Yes, i've tried . But the same as before. No baseband.

happened to me, too...tried everything! i had to restore in dfu-mode to 1.1.3, which makes my iphone a ipod touch for now...but an ipod touch is better than nothing.

hopefully there will be some kind of unlock for 04.03.13_G with BL4.6 soon, be it turbosim, hw unlock or soft unlock...

Looks like you're in a sticky situation then. From what I've been reading around, only a restore to 1.1.3 is going to solve your problem (just like the 0049 IMEI problem). Sorry about that, man. Let me know how things worked out for you.

well, i must figure it out how to put the baseband back to the phone...
Now i downgraded to 1.0.2, but it writes the same, as before ( cannot make calls etc... )
and Im tryin with ibrickr, to jailbreak and activate the phone.

Try downgrading to 1.1.1 or 1.0.2 and then back up to 1.1.2 to downgrade back to 1.1.1 or 1.0.2. That should reflash the baseband as I believe.
If you have no other solution you have to upgrade to 1.1.3 and use it as an ipod touch.
