Exclamation [1.1.2 OTB] To All 1.1.2 OTB Owners Awaiting An Unlock, Don't Update To 1.1.3

    ATTENTION

For everyone awaiting an unlock for their 1.1.2 OTB, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you DON'T UPDATE to 1.1.3 once it is out. If you do, you will be fucked because it means you will need to wait for 1.1.4 (or whatever version its gonna be) to attempt any unlock.

This info is not new but with the release of 1.1.3 being very soon, I would like to remind everyone to take extra caution.

EDIT: I would like to clarify a few things here. This is not the case where people's phones will be relocked like what happened with accidental updates like in the previous firmwares. If you do update accidentally (your 1.1.2 OTB) to 1.1.3, you will have to wait FOR APPLE to release a newer firmware WITH a baseband upgrade. Let me repeat this: you won't be waiting for a release from the DEV TEAM, you will be waiting for APPLE. Also, iPhones with the old bootloader can easily downgrade (read: rollback) to a previous baseband using ieraser/bbupdater. In the case of newer iphones, updating is pretty much a one-way street.

Won't have to worry about that here. I have waited too long for an unlock, no way will I fuck myself doing this.

Thanks for the heads-up Locked. Hope people are reading this and don't make threads later on saying: :Help! I upgraded to 1.1.3 and now my phone is locked!"

I always wonder why people would always upgrade in the first place if there is no jailbreaking/unlocking programs out........SMH

Even with this warning, I'm sure tons of people are still going to go it and then post a thread asking how to reverse it. It's going to just be like how 1.1.1 came out and people were warned not to update but still did.

Shouldn't we make this sticky so that -hopefuly- anyone will be able to see it?
But something tells me that once 1.1.3 is released there will be lots of people that will start posting "I accidently upgraded to 1.1.3 help me dev team"...
