    Talking [1.1.2 OTB] 1.1.4 working with 04.02.13_G

    Title says it all.

    What I've done so far:

    - Upgraded to 1.1.4 from any previous firmware version.
    - Zibre's ziphone -u to add a working, unlocked baseband (04.02.13_G)
    - George Zhu act114 -a -j to activate and jailbreak iPhone.

A full, authentic, official and clean 1.1.4 upgrade.

    Quick facts:

Original when opened from the box: FW 1.1.2, BL 4.6, BB 04.02.13_G
After last update: FW 1.1.4, BL 4.6, BB 04.02.13_G
Known missing features: Google Maps' LocateMe; improved signal quality.

NO need for AnySim/TurboSIM/Signal.app to get phone signal.

so that means i can upgrade to 1.1.4 and then unlock using ZIBRI's ziphone and later jailbreak and activate it using George Zhu act114... i have 1.1.2 OTB which currently on 1.1.3 coz i updated it and unlocked it using ziphone... so now can i go on 1.1.4

There's a quite simple explanation for this method and why it indeed works. Zibri's ziphone (based on GeoHot downgrader) is able to downgrade a higher (04.03.13_G) baseband to a lower one (04.02.12_G), so it is able to do the same for every new higher baseband Apple releases. As such, the only "missing" parts were activating and jailbreaking.

Next moves now points to baseband unlocking. Right now, only 04.02.12_G is unlocked. Same should be done for 04.03.13 and 04.04.05 (or whatever it is named). But phone itself can be, from now on, unlocked quite quickly -- until we got a new bootloader.
