    Default [1.1.2 OTB] -> 1.0.2 -> 1.1.2 & jailbreak.jar

    I have a 1.1.2 OTB downgraded to 1.0.2. Then I used ibrickr to upload terminal, BSD subsystem and the files needed to do the HW unlocking.

    Under 1.0.2, the phone hangs quite often, and I'm afraid to do the H/W unlocking with the 1.0.2 because if phone hangs after erasing the BL, it will be bricked forever.

    My question is: Can I update to 1.1.1 and then use jailbreak.jar in firm 1.1.1?
    I know this program it's to be use in 1.1.2, and in 1.1.1 I have to use the jailbreakme.com method, but I have the "No Wi-Fi" problem, so I cannot do anything else.

    Thanks

    If you can download from 1.1.2 otb to 1.02, most likely you have bootloader 3.9.

    If you have bootloader 4.6, it won't allow you to download to 1.02.

    I suggestion you try software jailbreak and unlock first if you have 3.9 BL

    Since the first day, I have the "no wi-fi" problem in the iphone; so I cannot go to jailbreakme.com!

    bbupdate says:
    bootloader: BOOTLOADER_VERSION:4.6_M3S2
    I though you can use any firmware with any bootloader. I used independence and had no problems...

    is there a workaround friends? first time its ever come up for me...
