Default [1.1.2] Need to update to 1.1.4

    Hey

i just bot a iphone of a friend who had been using TurboSim on it.

I've asked him what he did to do so and this was his reply

This phone was purchased with firmware 1.12. It has been jailbroken and activated through a downgrade to 1.11 (no impact to bootloader), and updated once more to 1.12. I can assure you that this iPhone has never been software unlocked, as the Bladox TurboSIM purchased negated my need to do this.
does this mean i can just update to 1.1.4 through itunes? if not how do i go about this?

cheers to whoever helps me out!

first use itunes[any version] to update to 1.1.4..then ur phone ll be locked...
after updating to 1.1.4 use iLiberty to unlock the phone...
search for iLiberty in software section...u ll find it...

let me kno if u hav any doubts,,..

just let' u know that 1.1.4 can now unlock easily with many software (Ilib+,pwnage...). So, feel free to click "update" from Itunes, then use Ilib+ to jailbreak+activate (then install some payload into iphone). Note that i don't recommand u to click on unlock button. Because u really don't want to have trouble later on. So, after jailbreak+activate just go directly to installer and install "bootneuter" . After that, you know what to do. You can fully control your bootloader. This will work (neuter: on, fb: off(if you are developer switch this to on, if you are not switch it off), unlock: on). After that you will have a fully unlock iphone with original bootloader (3.9 or 4.6 your choice ). Good Luck

Can any phone upgraded to 1.1.2 (no matter the method) be upgraded easily to 1.1.4, or only the one unlocked with TurboSim ?
