Started with OTB 1.1.2. Downgraded to 1.1.1 and jailbroke as per the Tutorial, updated back to 1.1.2 through iTunes and am now trying to jailbreak this version with the java program.

Close iTunes, kill iTuneshelper service, open windows.bat and it all starts fine, connects to the phone and says 'reading flash', lots of numbers scrolling down the screen. After about 2.5 blue bars on the java program it stops though. I've left it for a good 10 mins and hasn't progressed any further.

Any ideas on what to do? Thanks in advance. (using XP btw)

Pretty sure I did yeah....the phone seems fine, I cancelled the jailbreak to try again and it still shows the activation screen, so if necessary I can restore back to 1.1.1 and go through it all again.

Ahah I missed out one crucial line in the tutorial:

"if it gets stuck at the reading flash stage, make sure auto-lock is set to off/never"

I have this problem with my OTB 1.1.2.
I have restored and done the whle process over and over again! Still no luck.
I have go the Auto-lock set to never.
The only thing i can think of is that i dont have the original sim card that came with the phone... should that matter?
