I accidentally update from 1.02 unlocked to 1.1.2. Now, it has the new modem firmware, and I have tried to go back to 1.02 successfully, installed Installer app, BSD and Community sources.

I then used Anysim 1.2u and it just gives me the result 'anysim cannot unlock this phone'. Other things like youtube, wifi, all work, except the phone and sms. Now, I can't even enter DFU mode by using the 'hold home button' method.

what have i done wrong? please help!

Maybe it's this;

anySIM 1.2 crashes on firmware 1.0.2 or 1.1.1 right after "Copying firmware..."
This is because the developers didn't package the app correctly. To fix this, rename the downloaded anySIM file (might appear as a folder on Mac OS X right after download) to "anySIM.app", then upload it to the iPhones /Application directory. Now the unlock process should run flawlessy.

How did you install AnySIm 1.2.1u onto ur phone?? I am on that same step right now!!
