1.1.2 (3.9BL) Unlock Question

hey guys,
i apologize for asking what is probably going to sound like a horrifically stupid question, but being as that all of my searches in regards to FW 1.1.2 pull up OTB 1.1.2 queries, i figure this might be the best place to help me.

i have an iphone (obviously) running firmware 1.1.2 that was unlocked via AnySim (1.2 i believe?, and BL3.9). since the geohot ipsf method came out, i have wanted to upgrade to 1.1.3 (and now 1.1.4), but i've never seen any guides or the like for an already unlocked 1.1.2 phone. i don't really need help on how to accomplish this, since i have found ample great guides that i can use to accomplish this task. which leads me to my simple question...

can i simply upgrade to 1.1.3 without virginizing my phone? and now since 1.1.4 is out, can i 'restore' to 1.1.3 instead of upgrading?

my phone has become an integral part of my life, and unlike with previous attempts, if i brick it this time i would cry (philosophically, of course). again, i apologize if this is an entirely stupid question, but i thank anyone willing to help. thanks again!

oh, and i forgot one thing... after 1.1.3 i am going to go to 1.1.4, so if i can skip 1.1.3 altogether, let me know that as well

Download the 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 firmware (search this site for it) then via iTunes hold shift and then select restore and choose that file. When iTunes is done run iplus ( also serch this site for it).

restore straight to 1.1.4 then

wow law, thanks for the fast reply. so it won't brick my phone due to the fact it is already unlocked? and i'll have to look into iplus... today browsing the forums is the first i've heard of it actually (i haven't looked into upgrading my phone since 1.1.3 came out).

no it will not brick your phone , read the iplus 2.0 or iplus 2.0b thread for more info. Also I see that your new here so welcome

There are no guarantees (it won't brick) . You need to read and learn.
