Hi there,

I have been using an OTB 1.1.2 [UK], downgraded, unlocked, upgraded and jailbroken iPhone for a while now. I followed THIS tutorial to do so.

I'm just wondering that if i follow THIS tutorial to upgrade to 1.1.3 will my phone remain unlocked??

That's why it is called a SOFT upgrade, your baseband stays the same. But there are a few problems... it is a bit buggy, and there are a lot of ways to do it (NAte's method, Dev Team's, iClarified, etc.)

An unlock for 1.1.3 is almost complete (for upgraded 3.9 BL phones), if I were you, I'd wait till it's done, upgrade thru iTunes, and run this new unlock.

You will encounter a LOT of bugs and problems if you upgrade to 1.1.3 right now..

Just some advice =)

I was thinking that i should wait for the proper unlock.
I had a quick search, and while people said it remained unlocked others said that theirs locked/failed or messed up their phone in some way. I just wanted a solid answer, hence my asking.
