[1.1.2, 1.1.3] Patch AppSupport, Fix Dialer Crashes & Caller ID (iClarified Source)
Hey,
I just wanted to let everyone know what I have packaged timschuerewegen's AppSupport Patch into an Installer Source!!! This is a much better replacement for iWorld and supports many countries and can be easily customized.
If you are in an unsupported country and you are having a problem with the dialer crashing or caller id then this AppSupport patch should get you going!
You can find the tutorials here:
1.1.2: http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=685
1.1.3: http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=684
Please note that timschuerewegen deserves all the credit for this patch.
Cheers!

Finally!
We were waiting for this for a long time. Thanks!

Can we confirm that this fixes the general Caller ID problems with 1.1.3?
Does this replace the method of manually editting and copying the phone number database file?
-
I can confirm that this DOES NOT fix caller id issues with 1.1.3

I can CONFIRM that this DOES fix my caller ID issues with my 1.1.3.
-
I can also confirm that this fix my caller ID issues in 1.1.3. Good stuff!
If it does not fix your caller id issues it is probably because you messed with your appsupport framework before(or something else in the phone). I suggest to do a complete restore to 1.1.3 and try again.

A ton of number formats are included with this patch but there still are many more that could be included. If you find that your Caller ID isn't working you can add your number format manually as described in the huge hackint0sh thread on the topic.
Note*: I will of course be updating the package with more number formats as they become available!

This doesnt seem to do anything at all for Australian number formats, if anyone knows the PhoneNumberTemplates.txt combination to get +61 # #### #### to work, id love you forever.
My Current PhoneNumberTemplates.txt:
// Australia [au]
au 61 0011 !0
+ + + + # ########
+ + + + ## ########
+ + + + # #### ####
+ + + + ## # #### ####
+ + + + ## #### ####

Reason: Inclusion of PhoneNumberTemplates.txt

Hi guys,
I'm really sorry but I realized the original PhoneNumberTemplates file I included was not the most current. I have rectified this and updated the packages.
If it didn't work for you before please update your sources and reinstall and hopefully your country will be there now!
Blotto, the new PhoneNumberTemplate file I included has these Australian formats included. Let me know if you still need the extra ones you mention
// Australia [au]
au 61 0011 !0
+ + + + # ########
+ + + + ## ########
