Default [1.1.1] Unlocked, upgrading to 1.1.3/1.1.4

    Hello,

I was told this is the place where you can generally get a hand with unlocked iPhones, I purchased one about 4-6 months ago and it was unlocked on 1.1.1, I am not sure which method of unlocking was used but I would now like to get it to 1.1.3/1.1.4 depending on which is better but I am not sure how to do it. I foolishly ran ziPhone on it but that has for some reason slightly stuffed my phone up as now the installer does not want to install anything, all the other functions are working fine but I tried to follow an online guide which starts with the installation of oktoprep but now that installer does not work I cannot install oktoprep.

IS ANYBODY able to give me a hand and let me know the best way to update my iPhone to 1.1.3/1.1.4 and keep it fully functional??

    Sincerely,

    Matt

since u have already used ziphone, I suggest u continue with the same.
    What u can do is....

Use itunes and use the 'Restore" option and NOT the update. Restore it to latest version - 1.1.4, and then run ziphone GUI and use - "Do it All" option. Since u are saying that when u got ur phone, it was on 1.1.1 so I am assuming u r already on BL 3.9. In this case Ziphone - Do it All option won'y hurt.

    Cheers,
    Saurabh

I used ziPhone when there was no need to use ziPhone though??? It was already unlocked and jailbroken when I bought it but I didn't exactly realise what ziPhone would to until after i had used it, you think I should stick with ziPhone tho??

restore your phone to 1.1.4 as mentioned above.
you have a 3.9 bootloader so you are safe with either ziphone 2.5 or iPlus 1.2

    You're safe.
ps: I'm not so sure why saurabh put in OTB 1.1.2 > StealthSIM > ....; I hope that is his signature but it sure looks confusing to me and can be mistaken as an instruction.

Well, actually all apps work (at least the ones I'm using).
Some need a bit of tweaking though...
You can find the way to make them all work on this forum ;-)

P.S. No, not all apps work. Google Locateme stopped working after upgrading to 1.1.4

    Try this: hxxp://iphone.unlock.no/#number-formating

    Change the hxxp:// to http://

    Hope this helps!
