[1.1.1] Recovery mode problem
I have a 1.1.1 phone and was updating to 1.1.2 using option Update in iTunes (7.6). The update crashed (unknown error) and now the iPhone is in recovery mode. If I do a "Restore" in iTunes I'll have a bricked iPhone - I downloaded iNdependece and start it I get the error "error registering for callbacks from iPhone).
I am using Mac 10.5.1 with all updates installed. iTunes 7.5 freshly downloaded with no files in the lib. Independence 1.3.1 (and tried 1.3.2)
Any help would be appreciated!
I would just downgrade to 1.0.2. and than i would downgrade and virginize baseband and then upgrade to 1.1.1. and try again to upgrade to 1.1.2.
It will solve your problem. It takes some time. but i dont remember of anything easier and faster than this. Let me know how did it go.
More than 100 iPhones unlocked
I have a 1.1.1 (OTB) and updated it to 1.1.2 yesterday it crashed 3 time but eventually got it updated with anySim. (using a MAC)
these are the sites i used, they may help you.
http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=358 general guide.
i used the firmware from here not "iclarified". Thats what worked for me.
it helps if you read through to the end and start downloading ALL the files first.
Hope it helps
