[1.1.1][Problem] Can not Jailbreak > used every tool I could find.
I have searched for 2 days with no luck. Following the rules.
I have 1.1.1 that was running a little slow to me. (springboard moved slow)
So I restored to 1.1.1, did the *#301#, added the prefs: and jailbreakme.com in the URL fields. jailbreakme.com is not working. I tried like 75 times yesterday and about 20 so far today. I have connectd to the computer to make it work as suggested, but I have done this to this phone about 4 other times and did not have it connected when going to jailbreakme.com and it has always worked.
I have tried iLiberty+ (WIN), iLibertyx (MAC), Ziphone 2.2, 2.4,2.5, 3.0 (WIN and MAC), iDemocracy, and other solutions.
The phone restored no issues, and I have restored 20 - 25 times. I have left the phone for 30 - 40 minutes while each application tried to do its thing. they all freeze part way through.
Is there is any other solution to jailbreak this phone. I don't really want to upgrade I already have 1.1.4 that is jailbroken and unlocked.
What version are you originally coming from? And what is your bootloader version at this point in time...
Use Ziphone, and select the option to virginize the baseband.. if your baseband isn't 3.9, use bootneuter to make it 3.9... and virginize the baseband with ziphone...
This was the problem I was having, hope it helps you!
Sorry I forgot to add that:

Did you have a 39BL? What version of Ziphone did you use.
And thank you for that quick answer. thank you very much.
So did you solve your problem?
Your phone is definitely 1.1.1.
Don't do anything crazy and don't use ziphone.
Using jailbreakme.com never work reliably for me. The best tool for 1.1.1 that I swear by is CARNAVAL.
iLiberty should work for your 1.1.1 as well.
You only need to jailbreak+activate if you stay at 1.1.1
No it did not solve my problem. I have restored the phone another 10 times.

I tried a t-Mobile sim to see if I could get different results. iLiberty activated and supposedly jailbroke, but Installer was not installed. Upgraded iLiberty no Cydia either.
Definately 1.1.1 that was what I bought it as and have not upgraded, though now I'm thinking about it.
CARNAVAL I thought that was for Itunes 7.4 that is why I have not used it. I'm on 7.6.x. I did not thing it would work.
I'll have to give it a try tomorrow I need to go to bed. I only had 1 hour of sleep last night trying to fix this issue.
Thanks not fixedyet but trying. May upgrade to 1.1.3 if I can't fix this by weeks end I need my apps.
Where can I get Carnival saw information but no link to down load.
Try erasing your baseband then dfu restore then go to i.unlock.co to jailbreak or restore to 1.1.2 then jailbreak, downgrade the baseband and then restore to 1.1.1 and then try to jailbreak

Thanks for the head up.
If you have anymore info let me know I'm not giving up until this weekend

What's the fw version and modem version?
When you use iLiberty, make sure jailbreak is checked, activate is checked, and installer is checked.
Just do that first and see what you have.
This should not be complicated at all...
Yeah It was activated and supposedly jailbroke, but Installer/cydia was not installed. I had all the boxes checked except unlock. Don't need to unlock at this time.
The FW version is 1.1.1
Modem firmware is 04.01.13_G
I agree it should not be that complicated. I have done this at least 4 times since I have had the phone. Just this time causing all the problems.
What tool do you suggest I use to erase the baseband. i have heard bad things about Ziphone though I never had a problem before.

Jailbreaking and activation I'm Ok with even unlocking, erasing the bootloader kind of spooks me don't want to end up with a iPod Touch. Do I have to erase a 3.9 BL?
I'll do some research while I'm at work and try to erase this tonight.
Thanks for all your help.
If you have a suggestion on a program to erase th base basband please let me know.
