I would not have been able to jailbreak my iPhone on it's own using my current wifi router, luckily I bought a macbook as well so I did all my activating using iNdependence.

I'm still having trouble Jailbreaking it with iDemocracy. It keeps asking me to go to jailbreak.toc3rta.com! but I don't have wifi/edge.
Is there a guide for doing this without wifi, if so plz link it. thanks.
Try to find a wi-fi hotspot in your area try librarys etc. I live in a small town but finding hotspots really aint that hard

Just download Independence from here and install it.. Download the 1.0.2 firmware file and the 1.1.1 firmware files (IPSW FILES) from the board. (Just do a search), and rename the 1.02 firmware file to a zip file. extract it and rename the original file back *.ipsw.
Now goto firmware tab in INdependence and hit "enter dfu mode". it will ask for the location of the unzipped, just click on the folder and independence will make the phone enter dfu mode. Once the phone enters dfu mode, close independence.
now click option restore in itunes and select the ipsw file for 1.0.2... itunes will start restoring but error out with error 1013 or 1015. That is fine. Open independence to kick the iphone out of dfu mode.
Once on the actication screen use independence to activate and jailbreak the iphone, and then click on the firmware tab and click on the pre-upgrade steps. Once Independence says completed, Upgrade back to 1.1.1 and (Option/Update in Itunes).
Once updated, click on activate again in independence and your phone should be activated.

Is there a one click jailbreak w/o wifi on pc? if so plz plz link it
Also I want use my iphone as an ipod for now until I can jailbreak it. What's the easiest way to bypass activation on PC for 1.1.1?

buy yourself a Wireless G router. It is a small investment that will save the headache of unlocking your iphone and you're guarantee to have wireless internet when you get a laptop.
