    Default [1.1.1 OTB] 1.1.2 > DevTeam 1.1.3 > Crash --> Apple 1.1.3 and now not-downgradable

    Hi all....

Have an iPhone 1.1.1 OTB, I have used 1.1.2 with for months now. Not long ago i used the 1.1.3 over-the-air upgrade, and it worked fine. Yesterday i used the installer to install a language pack, and then the famous "Restore iPhone" picture came up!

Please give me some advice... I have tried everything, but the baseband jammed and the iPhone forgot it's IMEI number and ICC!!

After that my only option was to run a iTunes Restore with the original Apple 1.1.3 software... Worked fine, and the Activationscreen came up, and it remembered it's ICC and IMEI number..... But now, none of the guides for downgrade work... It's basically the first step that doesn't work, because iTunes refuses to Restore with any packs but the original 1.1.3........ Have tried with 4 different old iTunes versions to restore the 1.1.1 software, but without luck! Every time in iTunes Error 01

If I install the old versions of iTunes, fx 7.4.2 - same error 01 with 1.1.1 restore, but another error when just pushing "Restore" and trying with default software.....

Anyone of the great forum have i clue? Really miss the iPhone A LOT!

    Thanks in advance.

    Dennis

You're not alone, this happenend to a lot of people, including myself.
This doesn't help you now, and neither me.

But maybe a member of the DEV team will at some point in time suggest a solution to this wide-spread problem.

    Hi
As yours was an OTB 111, i think you can downgrade quite easily, try the following links, i was on 1.1.3 (via Nate True) and downgraded to 111, then upto 112. and used the i.unlock guide. one thing that i did have to do was change the version of itunes. don't know why, but each time i tried to restore to 111, the computer though my phone was an IPOD??? and crashed with unknown error(4), only way to open was ibrickr v91.
Now all working and i will go back to 113 via Dev Team and installer.

    Hope the above helps.

The problem is, that every guide is either iBrickr for Windows, or guides in how you continue after the Restore step.... What is going on with my iPhone? Need it so badly on work ect. that this is really not good...

Please write if you have a solution to the 1.1.3 -Downgrade Error (1) problem!

    Connect your phone to itunus...
    Press home button and powerbutton.
    Wait till screen goes of.....
Release the home button and wait till i tunes says a phone is connected in restore mode.
Than you can restore (screen remains black)

It did the trick for me..

(could be the home you should release... try both!! my short term memory is giving up on me.. lol)

Guys sorry, but in the main post I write just doing that.... I'm well aware that there is a option for choosing the packages, but the problem is i can't install any of them!

Only 1.1.3 will not make Error 1

You're supposed to get an error. After restoring to 1.1.1 use iBrickr to get the phone OUT of restore mode, then jail brake as usual and after installing INSTALLER use a baseband downgrader, then restore again to 1.1.1. and voila, you're done
