[1.1.1] How to undo IPSF
hi
my very first unlock on my phone was the hardware unlock from geohot. when i did this, i also got this NOR file from the process which i think is needed if i want to undo the IPSF so i can use the regular AnySIM, is that right? problems, the NOR file and all that stuff is on my macbook pro, which has no power (power cord is at office)
is there another way to undo the IPSD without using the NOR file?
or can i use the 1.1.3 update without any problem even with IPSF?

ipsf stays unlocked through all updates even the new 1.1.3 jailbreak update the only reason you may need to reverse it is if apple force a bootloader update which they have chosen not to so far eventhough OTB phones all have a new bootloader. I would suggest that by forcing a bootloader update may have made a few bricks in testing so they decided not to do it. Though the returned used iPhones on sale all get the bootloader update showing that it is a posibility. I still imagine that the apple staff doing these updates have hardware or software at their disposal that our community does not.
All in all stick with your ipsf unlock untill you hear of problems, all unlocks essentialy do the same thing.
good luck
