Default 1.1.1 downgraded to 1.0.2 and Jailbreaked. Should I upgrade now to 1.1.1 and unlock?

    Hello,

    I had purchased a week 39, 1.1.1 iPhone.

I downgraded to 1.0.2 today and jailbreaked.

Purchased a IPSF code for unlock but still didn't applied it.

I've read that can be upgraded again now to 1.1.1

    My questions are:

1.- If I unlock now at 1.0.2 can I upgrade to 1.1.1 without risks?
2.- If I upgrade to 1.1.1 before unlocking will be easy to unlock at 1.1.1?
    3.- Is installer.app working for 1.1.1?
4.- Does anybody knows if IPSF works several times in the case my phone got locked back so I can unlock in the future with the same purchase the same phone?

    Thanks all for your help

What worked for me is this:

    1. Activate 1.0.2 using PACAY
    2. Connect to my WiFi
    3. Install through Installer Community Sorces, BSD Subsystem and Open SSH
    4. Copy IPSF application into /Applications and change access status to 0755, reboot
    5. Run IPSF
    6. Upgrade to 1.1.1 following http://iphone.fiveforty.net/wiki/ind...ailbreak_1.1.1 until step "Install SSH and Installer.app on the phone"
    7. From a command prompt, run the sshify-windows.bat executable, then run the installapps.bat executable
    8. SSH to the iphone with the same ip address as above (password: alpine)
    9. Copy to /usr/bin the following binaries: killall,rm,mv from BSD Subsystem and change their access status to 0755
    10. Do the activation routine http://iphone.fiveforty.net/wiki/ind...Activate_1.1.1 (Activate 1.1.1 on Windows (online)). Don't forget to put your sim-card which you gonna use, its ICCID written on it.
    11. Go back to tutorial http://iphone.fiveforty.net/wiki/ind...ailbreak_1.1.1 and start from section "Install SSH and Installer.app on the phone" starting from
"Log into the phone with ssh (same username and new password: alpine) and run the following commands" and ending with "Your jailbreak is now complete"

You have your 1.1.1. with your sim-card. Works fine.

    Default

I'd recommend that you unlock using IPSF, and then wait a few days until the jailbreak process becomes simpler for 1.1.1 phones.

There's nothing in 1.1.1 that you can't wait a few days for.
