Default 1.1.1 downgrade to 1.0.2.. How to restore to 1.1.1

    Hi Hackintosh members,

I am helping a friend of mine to unlock the iphone, i want to use the jailbreak method for firmware 1.1.1. He bought an iphone with firmware 1.1.1 but downgraded it to 1.0.2 but have not unlocked it. I want to make the firmware 1.1.1, is it possible just by updating it via itunes? or if i restore it from itunes will it go back to 1.1.1?

Thanks in advance for the help!

PS he used the method from http://iphone.fiveforty.net/wiki/ind...1.1.1_to_1.0.2 , is this mean i have to re-virginisize it?
