1.1.1 (1.1.3OTB 16GB) lots of problems after jailbreak
I have a 16GB OTB that i just jailbroke. Used the *#307 method, and i.unlock.no's jailbreak. Thats it, nothing else, now I have:
- Incorrect sim message (i know this is related to the baseband being newer)
- when you take pictures with the camera, it looks ok in the viewfinder, and then once it captures the image gets a green hue
-seems to have a reverse headphone jack issue. no system sounds or youtube through the speaker or anywhere, then once you plug the headphone jack in instead of coming out through the earpiece you can hear the sounds out of the speaker. Tried to wiggle/pull the jack in or out and it didn't work. Someone said that if you disconnect it during a ipod playing song that will work, but i can't connect t itunes due to the incorrect sim message.
I am at the point of trying a full restore but want to avoid it if possible, will some of this crap go away if I update and jailbreak all the way up to 1.1.3??
I pretty stuck here...

restore the phone with itunes... let everything reload to its factory state... turn off the phone after... hold the home button and plug in the usb so it goes into restore mode... use Ziphone to unlock... i used it OTB and its working awesome with my 16g... i even bricked my phone installing an app from an unknown source... then i did what i wrote at the start of the post... hopefully this helps you out... youre gonna have to input your contacts again though...

There is a thing i noticed about the 16GB iphone. First off when i downgraded to 1.1.1 my keypad sound did not work and my keyboard clicks did not work either and i too also got the incorrect sim message. I did not have the sound problem downgrading on the 8GB. I then on 1.1.1 successfully dongraded the bootloader to 3.9 and then downgraded the baseband to 04.01.13_G and still incorrect sim message even after baseband flashed to a lower one i should not be getting the incorrect sim message after totally downgrading baseband and bootloader i did not have this problem on 8GB. Apple has definetly changed something on the comm board inside the new phones where if your not on 1.1.3 or greater you will lose some functionality i could not have keyboard sounds till i upgraded to 1.1.3 i even tried resetting all settings and that did not work. I could not get rid of that sim message until i ran anysim 1.1 in 1.1.1 my att sim did not work until i unlocked it In 8gb which was 1.1.2 OTB after i did all of them steps above i popped my att sim in and it worked didnt have to run unlock program. Very strange just wanted you guys to know my expierence

So you haven't had any problems at all with ziphone apps, sounds, etc???
I was trying to avoid doing anything permanent to the phone (ziphone) that could brick/damage it. I am kind of trying not to get past the point of a restore.
I was planning on 1.1.3OTB-1.1.1 jailbreak and activate - 1.1.2 jailbreak - 1.1.3 jailbreak, then use a sim chip, so if in the worst case scenario i could restore and join att against my will.
Any other suggestions?? (looks like at this point i'm headed towards a restore) but I thought that at least i might try going up to 1.1.2 and seeing if that software changes anything

Bobby ZiPhone wont do anything permanent to the phone as long as you use the program right just use the GUI and will do everything to your phone in 2:30 only reason i downgraded to 1.1.1 was to downgrade the bootloader hope this helps!!!!!!!!!

See, thats exactly what happened to me, i notice the sounds gone as soon as i went down to 1.1.1. You are saying that after you went through all of the processes and finally got back to 1.1.3 your sounds came back??
Any camera probs in 1.1.1 or did you not try???

I don't see why you want to downgrade to 1.1.1 now after the ziphone or ziphonegui is released.
See http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=29554
You can always unlock 1.1.3 otb without downgrade to 1.1.1 and all the way back up.
You will end up to be the same. If you don't want to permanently change anything on your 16GB phone, just don't downgrade bootloader from 4.6 to 3.9. Then you will be ok to restore to any other version.
If you've already downgraded to 1.1.1, you should just do a complete restore back to 1.1.3 otb again and use the above link to activate, jailbreak and unlock.

I did not try i was just doing the jailbreak *#307# trick and no sounds coming from keyboard lol i was like what the hell broken phone maybe very weird. Keyboard clicks and stupid incorrect sim message very annoying nice try apple, didnt stop me from jailbreaking and unlocking. I think you should upgrade to 1.1.3 software and then run ziphone it is very easy and convienent. :p

Gary LOL i dont trust Ziphone to downgrade my bootloader you kidding me if it messes up then my phone is fried. There has been too many bugs i use the program to jailbreak and activate that is about it. Bootloader downgrading is to dangerous. I just followed the guide at acujo.com very nice and easy tutorial worked like a charm.
