    Default [1.1.1 -> 1.1.3 ZiPhone] Backing up contacts/SMS/Notes/Everything.

    Hey,

    I'm about to take the jump from 1.1.1 (3.9 BL) to 1.1.3. I am going to do a restore, not upgrade, restore from 1.1.1 to 1.1.3 through iTunes, before using ZiPhone (I am doing a restore just to make sure that the phone is as clean as possible, so that the ZiPhone process could run smoothly).I was reading and found that there could be some problems with backing up and restoring the content in your phone. I was wondering if there was any sure way (or someone who has had experience) in going from 1.1.1 to 1.1.3 with ZiPhone + AnySIM 1.3 while still being able to have a backup of ALL your current contacts, SMSes, Notes, calender entries, etc. while still being able to restore every single thing after getting onto 1.1.3.

    I'd really prefer if someone with experience in this backing up and restoring their data after going from 1.1.1 (3.9 BL) to 1.1.3. Reason being, I don't want people to answer this question based on assumptions since I really have no want at all of losing any of the content in my phone. I don't really bother about apps since all I use is SMB and Services. So other than that, please, someone do help.

    Thanks a ton!

    open iTunes and it'll do a backup of everythings with a sync. I started with 1.1.2, do a sync, restore to 1.1.3, then restored with itunes and everythings was there, contacts, sms, calendar...

    in that document you provided me with, I even used CTRL + F, I don't see SMS or notes on there. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it isn't there, is it? Or does something there imply that but just doesn't... say it? I know that I can sync contacts, music, photos and calendar with iTunes, but really, what about SMSes or notes? I've got some really important stuff on there too that I don't want to lose? So yeh, thanks again in advance.

    And by the way, thanks Luke. Though, are you serious about iTunes being able to sync SMSes and Notes? Did you do an upgrade or restore? I'm planning to restore from my 1.1.1 to 1.1.3 through iTunes so I have a fresh start (obviously, to make sure that nothing is in the phone that might screw things up during the ZiPhone process) before ZiPhone-ing it. Anyone else?
