Now its 1.1.1

what i need help with is finishing the hack.....I want to use my orig att sim card, thats all i care about.

my baseband is:
modem firmware 04.02.13_G
bootloader 4.6_M3S2

I think all i need to do is make my bootloader a 3.9.

Since the 1.1.3 hack came out is there a way to hack this?

You will going to risk your iphone to become bricked.

Get a xxxsim or DIY the sim using silvercard or what they call SuperSim. They are working perfectly on 1.1.2 OTB bootloader 4.6

So if i buy a Next Sim / Turbo Sim / X-Sim / Hyper Sim card, can i use my phone jailbroke like it is?

will i still need to do the hardware mod?

can anyone verify if these perticular sims work?

to use an original att sim you need to restore with itunes and activate with itunes to get the correct lockdown files on the phone.

otherwise you need to hw hack the phone to bootloader 3.9 then unlock with anysimU . The reason the phone is not working is you have the wrong lockdown file for an att card. I have seen the lockdown file you need in the sticky about getting google locate me to work

Basically im on a dealer plan ($20month includes 2kmins data text yada yada) i dont want to lose this (since i quit att)

If i "activate" like you said gaz i believe my plan will go away.....

is there another place for lockdown files? what are lockdown files?

can i just buy one of the sim cards i listed and work my iphone?

using the above sims means cutting your sim up to get it to work you also need the original att sim.

Im fairly sure if you are on att you can activate through itunes without changing your plan ( it wouldn't hurt to try anyway)

otherwise the lockdown files for an att sim are downloadable from the sticky i had above . There are many posts already explaining what they are for where the go and so on.

as your phone is unopened and working i really suggest if your with att you try to activate through itunes, pretty sure you just punch in your phone number and its done, no plan change. If it works you are free to update to 1.1.3 normally or if you want it jailbroken you can use the new method
