[1.1.1/1.1.2 -> 1.1.3] Update ends up with boot-loop+iTunes logo
I have a problem that I haven't found answer from this forum. I apologize if there was a thread about this problem.
First I tried to update from 1.1.1 to 1.1.3, everything went fine, but when phone rebooted after 1.1.3 soft update I ended up with continuous boot-loop. Only way to stop this loop is to hold home+power buttons and after that I end up with iTunes restore logo. I'm also unable to kick phone out from it with iBrickr.
So after that I tried to do it longer way 1.1.1 -> 1.1.2 -> 1.1.3 = same result.
Also my phone has v 3.9 BL. Does it make a difference? I also got "main script execution failed" both times and hit "OK" + waited until the phone rebooted itself.
Shoud I try to boot the phone myself when I get the installer error?
Any ideas? suggestions?
Thanks a lot!

I received "main script exec failed", clicked Ok and waited about 1 min. After this I have shut off the phone by holding home + sleep pressed. Then I started it and found it was running 1.1.3.

No luck. Still ends up with restore iTunes -logo. Other ideas?

I had the same problem, I had to restore the phone to 1.1.1 and rejailbrake it and redo the update process to 1.1.3. The problem seem to be some software resedue that prevented 1.1.3 from loading.

Starting point: FW: 1.1.1 & Unlocked with anysim, everyting works fine.
1. Start iBrick(1.1.3 jb edition).
2. Follow iBrick instructions
3. When iBrick is done, I launch installer and install 1.1.3 soft update
4. When it's installing it, I get "Main script exec error" and hit "OK".
5. Then I wait more(5-10min) and the phone boots itself and boots and boots. I end up with a boot-loop. Only apple -logo shows for a short time in every boot.
5. I shutdown the phone with home+lock buttons.
6. I start the phone again and it shows me iTunes restore logo.
7. Have to start all over again.
Am I missing something during the update?
I have done this now about 5 times, same result everytime.

I have done it both ways, no difference.

Hmm well the only diff I did was that I installed the Community Sources and BSD Subsystem before the Soft Update.

I try one more time. With phone unplugged from computer, BSD Subsystem and Community Sources from installer.
Btw. Did you wait until phone rebooted itself?
