[1.1.1/1.0.2][unlock] Restored to 1.1.1/04.01.13_G IMEI is original
Hello, i posted earlier about my problems updating a 1.0.2 phone with 04.01.13_G modem firmware and crazy code scrolling thanks to iBrickr. After a lot of lost sleep I think i managed to get the phone stable. But i need help (sorry for starting a new thread my other one got hi-jacked like theres no tomorrow).
The current state of my iPhone is 1.1.1 with 04.01.13_G modem version and i have the correct IMEI in the phone as printed on the exterior. My question is that I am certain that I used anysim to unlock it at 1.0.2 but since the phone has been restored to 1.1.1 and the modem version is the correct one for the fw and my IMEI number is the correct one does that mean its safe to use winpwn or iliberty+ to unlock? Shouldnt my phone be bricked?! I never virginized it. But used a series of DFU/iBrickr/iTunes Restore sessions to get to 1.1.1/04.01.13_G!
Lets say i went to itunes and restored from 1.1.1 to lets say 1.1.4 could i then just unlock using the new software released? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If EVERYTHING is working like it should and your on 1.1.1 then you should be clear to procced to 1.1.4 and use iplus/ilberty or pawnage. Also virginizing is for those on 1.0.2 and unlocked

I saw your other post. If you used AnySIM 1.0.2 at firmware 1.0.2 you have to virginize before unlocking at 1.1.4. This can be done at Firmware 1.0.2 or at firmware 1.1.1 (wher you are now with matching baseband). AnySIM 1.0.2 corrupted the seczone and this still has to be repaired to make sure you dont end with a brick.
Get Installer and BSD Subsystem on your iPhone at 1.1.1 and virginize then. After that is done restore to 1.1.4 and use iLiberty or Pwnage to jailbreak, activate, unlock.
iLiberty is a good programm if you dont have Installer on the iPhone now. You can add both Installer and BSD Subsystem via Payload and have it on the iPhone then.
Check this thread (made for users that already upgraded to 1.1.4). If you already have Installer and BSD Subsystem on the iPhone jump in at step 14, if not start at step 13.
