@carlosvaldosta - thanks for making a nice, clean version of everything out there. I have gone through each and every guide over the past week just to see which one would be best when my iPhone arrives

I do have a few questions - pls don't mind.

    1. Bluetooth - does it work? (can the iPhone find devices or does it keep searching and searching?) I have read a lot about how bluetooth doesn't work with different guides.

    2. I have downloaded the 1.0.2 restoration file and have kept it in that special restore folder under c:\documents and settings\administrator(my windows login name)\application data\apple computer\itunes\iphone software updates

This is to ensure that I'm safe incase 1.0.3 comes out via iTunes. Think that's recommended?

    3. A "just-out-of-the-box" restore. Incase I want everything to be reset back as it was when I initially unboxed the thing - how do you go about doing that?

    Appreciate the help mate. Thanks

Oh and for the rest of you guys getting your problems solved, please stick around the forums and try helping everyone else out please.

    Answers:
    1: i have a plantronics 655...works great.
2: awsome idea...you can never be too safe...however if you turn off auto updates in itunes it shouldn't be a problem.
3: turn your phone off, close itunes. Plug phone into pc, when apple symbol comes up hold power/home button down till yellow triangle...etc.
    4: oh...no 4...
