yes someone please help because i have 128 kb connection and it's telling me that it's gonna be 3 hours for that 91 MB to download....i have the file already that i got from a friend with faster internet...so what can i do next...yes i have windows...i press SHIFT and click restore...so i just choose the ipsw or should i unzip it and choose a file and let it do it's thing...?
does it matter where i have the file?

i have a few questions though. perhaps I've overlooked it but i don't
the "lockdownd" file being mentioned, does unlocking the iphone using this method require one to reactivate their phone again if they swap out the SIM in the future?
also, for those who've unlocked their phones using this method,
does everything work??
1) call in/out
2) SMS in/out
3) wifi
4) edge
5) bluetooth
anything does not work at all???

The SIM reactivation has been covered. NO, one does not need to reactivate with this method.

well, i certainly hope in/out sms&calls work for the people that unlocked a bunch of phones

but what I need is somebody posting itunes 7.4.1.2 for windoze please! Apple just smashed down every download site I can find with 7.4.2

Apple just released the latest update...Just do a "check for updates" in your current version.
I am hesistant to update it since a lot of how to's say to use 7.4.1

Apple gives me 7.4.2!
but someone here definatly has the 7.4.1 installer laying in their download folder, waiting to be uploaded
