Hi all, I know you heard this million times by now. But I do not want make a mistake.
Last year i unlocked and gift to my GF the 'first version' on iPhone. I used iunlock.
She now wants me to upgrade the iphone to the latest firmware (1.1.4) and I was wondering if it still required to virginize-then-upgrade the phone, o just upgrade it.
This bring me to my next question. Which tool do you recommend for the upgrade of the first generation iPhone? I was planning to use Liberty+, but many people here prefer the pwonage tool. I am consused. Which one is the easiest/better one ?

ilberty is easier and much more straightforward than pwnage.

pwnage will allow you to put a custom boot screen and recovery screen, however it can be a pain to get it right.
