[1.0.2] upgraded to 1.1.1 > Can't load installer after jailbreak
Hi. I have an iphone that is FW1.1.1 upgraded from 1.0.2. I think I need to have it virginized. Since I can't run installer, is there any other way of virginizing? I have tried using iLiberty+ to JB, Activate and install Cydia. It says it's installed but I don't see anything on the display. I also loading some other app. None of it showed up on the display. Does anyone know what's wrong with my phone?
Can anyone show me how to virginize so I can update to 1.1.4? Or is this a hardware problem?
Thanks.

Also the latest Installer (v3.1) doesn't work on 1.0.2 (not sure if it does on 1.1.1 too), you must install a previous version.
Use an older iLiberty version to re-jailbreak and install an older Installer.
Then use the search to find different tutorials/guides to virginize.

Mike,
Please read this thread by Volkspost

Why do you want older version of iLiberty? I guess you meant Installer. Read the link I mentioned above.

I just tried 1.20 iLiberty+, still same problem
Hi Dtube,
I tried volkspost method but I cannot get installer on my system. After jailbreak and activiate, I cannot install anything on my screen. iLiberty says it's doing it during the install but nothing shows up on the screen.
Any knows where I can get an even older version of iLiberty that has an old version of Installer in the package?
Thanks,
Mike

iplus didn't work
Hi. Sorry to say, but iplus 2.0b didn't work. Stage 1 is ok, but stage 2 it's stuck for about 10 minutes already. It's stuck at the second reboot of stage 2. All i see is the white apple and timer circle going round and round. Any magic tricks to get it out of this mode?
thanke

mike61165,
I read your first post again

If your phone is running 1.1.1 fine right now, there is no need to virginize or revirgin. You can go straight to 1.1.4.
Put phone in DFU mode, restore with 1.1.4. When done use iLiberty+ or pwnage/winpwn to jb/act/unlock. It is very very simple using iLiberty+. You just put a check in jb, act, unlock, and installer payload and click go for it.
When done, you can use installer to add community sources and BSD (must have) - don't leave home without it :-)
