hi i accidentally updated my installer and now can not install bsd or the virginizer because installer just crashes when you try to install any app.

Is there anyway to get the older installer back or another way to virginize as I want to go to 1.1.4 unlocked?

do you have open ssh installed on your iphone?

also you can use ibrickr to install bsd and open ssh and then you can use this guide:

no, it will not fix your installer but it will let you install applications directly on .pxl format so if you do a search on openssh and bsd .pxl packages you can download the files to your computer and install them using ibrickr.

that way you'll be able to follow the guide i posted on the last post.

I cant find the bsd and openssh pxl files anywhere. I found the actual app files here:

But i dont know how to manually install these as ibrickr does not recognize them.

Can someone help me get the pxl files?

What's going on? Are you still on 1.0.2 ?. If you are, what you can try is to use iLiberty+. connect your phone, run iLiberty, select jailbreak and select the installer payload - and click go for it.

That will put the installer on your phone again and hopefully it will run correctly again.

thanks for everyones help. I just restored to 1.1.4 in DFU mode and then used ziphone to unlock. No need to virginize and everything is working great.

you should not use ziphone, hope everything works good for you.

But just keep in mind that ziphone its a buggy program and its causing a lot of people a lot of problems.

You'll have better results with iLiberty+
