angelhawk, you can use the unofficial virginmaker. I was in the same situation and virginized, updated and unlocked without problems. Took me an hour to carefully follow the guides very closely, but it is possible. However, if you can wait for just a few day's, please do so. The dev team will provide an official and probably easier way to walk through the process. I know your eager to update, but trust me... There is really no need to do it right now, the 1.1.1 update isn't that much of an improvement to be honest. 1.0.2 already gives you a mobile phone to be proud of.
