[1.0.2][Solved] Updated to 1.1.4 without virginize, can I unlock?
Hi, I'm posting another thread, since the old one created two weeks ago is perhaps a bit misleading with the thread title to my current problem...
So my question is has anybody unlocked their originally 1.0.2 iphone anysim unlocked (1.0.2) that's been accidentally updated to 1.1.4 without first being virginized?
This phone, is currently working perfectly on 1.1.4, except the phone part that is...
Activated and jailbroken with iLiberty in OSX.
Can I unlock?
There is no way (as of current) for me to downgrade to 1.1.1, do the virginize, and upgrade to 1.1.4, there is some sort of problem, apparently not heard of here before...
See my earlier post, about change of operator...
Moderator, sorry for making another post, I just thought of getting a bit more input of successful unlocks without virginizing... Feel free to join, or delete.
And to everyone sofar for helping me: A BIG THANK YOU!
There is no panic with this iphone, since I already bought another one, so this one is going to be an experimental one in the future

SUCCESS!!!
Finally grabben the bull by the horns and did the unlock straight in iliberty!
It worked, I have now 2 fully working iPhones...
So here is in short how I did...
Restored, not updated version 1.0.2 unlocked with anysim 1.0.2 in iTunes to 1.1.4.
Jailbroke, Activated and UNLOCKED the iPhone with iLiberty in OSX.
No downgrade of the baseband
No Virginization!
Just straight on.
I cannot recommend this to anyone, since I had major problems downgrading my software to 1.1.1, after accidentally uppgrading to 1.1.4 from 1.0.2
But my IPhone works.
Admin, I guess we could change the Thread title?
