What exactly is not working? Did you do the iClarified tutorial? Where did it stop?

Well, you made it all the way to firmware 1.1.1. Thats the start point. All the firmware files you are using end with ...ipsw.zip.

I am afraid you have to do it again, no way around. One last idea. Get out of BSD root... as you did before. Then restore to 1.1.1 again. When done, just to make sure there are no leftovers from your old installation, get into DFU mode as dtube described before (last page). An easier way would be to use iLiberty (http://theiphoneproject.org/index.ph...c=select&id=14) for Mac. In menu "Advanced" there is an option "Enter DFU mode", select this. OK, there are two choices going into DFU mode.
When done again start iTunes and restore ti 1.1.1. All old files should be erased then. Try the jailbreak-trick then. It should really work.

One more on that "Locked SIM" you get. When you insert your new simcard into another mobile and start the mobile, do you have to enter a pin 8often 4 digits). If so, use another mobile and disable this option. Its a security thing you can enable again when the iPhone is unlocked.

Did you try my suggestion in post 45, kind of a double restore with one regular and one DFU? I cant imagine anything - after doing that one - would remain and stop you from activate the iPhone.
You tried iLiberty for jailbreak and activation of 1.1.1 and ended with BSD root. taht happened to me twice. In both cases the +3001... trick worked. i have help some members here in the same situation.

If you just wanna give it one more try - I need some sleep now.

If you succeed, here are the next steps, just in case.

-------After jailbreak, Activation and having Installer and BSD Subsystem at 1.1.1 on the iPhone----

Thats the only leftover from the virginizing thread you have to go for
You have Installer on the iPhone and BSD Subsystem installed

    1. On the iPhone goto Settings->General
    2. You MUST set Auto-Lock to "never" again!!!!!!!
    3. Add i.unlock.no to sources and refresh.
    4. Update Installer will pop up again, just IGNORE it
    5. Start Installer, goto "Unlocking Tools -> The Virginizer" and hit "Install"
    6. Virginizing takes 10 minutes NEVER interrupt!
    7. After its done, immediately restore to 1.1.4 in iTunes

    ---Next step

If you dont have it already, get iLiberty for Mac here
    http://theiphoneproject.org/index.ph...c=select&id=14

    Then goto this thread:
    http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=43569

It's made for Windows, but even easier for a Mac user.
You dont have to start from scratch, just follow the instructions in this mail:

Connect your iPhone to the Mac. Start iLiberty and hit the tab "Utilities". "Download" the Packages "International Payload for 1.1.4" and "Relocate Fonts and Ringtones". Then acitivate both downloaded packages with their checkboxes.
    Goto tab "Main".

Now start the tutorial at step 2.6 and follow all the way to the end.

I need to get a nap, keep my fingers crossed,

Yes I did your suggestion in post 45.

But could my problem be the fact that my deactivated iphone don't have a simcard that's not unlocked and valid...

it says on the ActivateIphone page

"incorrect sim, insert an unlocked and valid simcard to activate iphone"
