Guess my phone is a brick now...
Tried to jailbreak with iliberty+. It suddenly stopped, and now when I put on my iphone i get a black screen and a bunch och scripts, ending in a loop of the same bsd root:md9, major 2, minor 0

OK, t's NOT a brick, yet!
What I managed to do was to restore it via Itunes, but only to 114. So now I again have a functioning Iphone running 114, with the original anysim unlocked simcard, the ELISA network, the simcard is closed due to operator change.
But the phone is alive again,
So what do you recommend next?
Activated and apparently unlocked, but naturally does not work since my network is closed. Now I need to get the phone running by my new operator the "Saunalahti" network.
Phuew!

Uups, i should not have been going to work, just came back.
It's not a brick and it wont be. One question:
Do you remember which method you used to unlock at 1.0.2? Was it AnySIM (the software)?
I am just wondering cause you said it is activated at 1.1.4. Do you have access to the springboard? Did you use iLiberty on the iPhone at 1.1.4 or did you just restore to 1.1.4?
i know, lots of questions plus I have to recall the unlocks last year...

I used Anysim 1.0.2 to unlock it
I saw the only option to get the phone running to restore it via Itunes, it restored fine, I put in my unlocked simcard and with iLiberty+ i activated and jailbroke it.
As it is now, it's working, I have acces to the springboard and WLAN is working. My old unlocked simcard is deactivated since I switched operators, so I can't say if the phone part works, or not, but I guess so, since it only reads no service, which I ofcouse lack as it is now. Now I just should get my new simcard to work...
How should I do it?
It's never been virginized. The old ATT card did not work, phone kept saying it's a locked card, just as it says with my new Saunalahti simcard (the one I need to get working)

OK, so far so good. You did jailbreak and activate but did not unlock at 1.1.4 - thats good. You should virginize that, there is a chance you end with a brick if not. iPhone Moderator dtube and I have put together a tutorial on how to if you are already at 1.1.4 and did not virginize. It's made for those that already have kind of a brick, but it will work for you.

You can jump in st step 1. i know, you already activated your iphone. You need to have Installer and BSD Subsystem on it, this should work now. You can have your new simcard in during the process or the AT&T one or an old, does not matter.
When done, you are at firmware 1.1.4 with a locked iPhone that is virginized and ready to be finally and safe jailbroken, activated and unlocked.
Once you are there, please report back. I will guide you then.

You are at step 10 in
http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=42046
The iPhone has to be in DFU mode in order to downgrade. make sure you are in DFU mode. The 1.1.1 firmware file should have .zip as it's extension. Works best on the Mac this way. If you use safari for downloading the firmware file in safari open Settings->General and uncheck the option to automatically unzip "secure" downloads. this way it will remain ....ipsw.zip.
Most important: you have to be in DFU mode to downgrade.

Nothing seems to work, now I can't get the phone out of it's recovery mode... If I restart it, it goes straight into recovery with the itunes logo and connector icon...
