Hello pepople,

I have a huge problem, i had a friend with a 1.0.2 unlocked with unlock-fast.pxl and he wanted to update to 1.1.3. i knew that he need to virginize the BB first and then do a restore etc etc etc.

I was about to use installer to install the virginizer package from i.unlock.no but he did not had installer installed on the phone so i tried to use ibricker and every aplication i try to install was just not on the springboard.

so i did a restore on 1.0.2 and now i cannot jailbreak, everytime i try to use appTapp Installer it just get's to stage 2:4 booting iphone in recovery mode and then it hangs there forever i try to close it and run pacay but it send a couple of erros and after i restart the iphone is still on please activat screen.

Does anyone know how to fix this? i dont want to restore to 1.1.1 because i know it will mess up the BB.

Can anyone help? or give an idea?

Is there a safe way to recover from a BB screwup coming from 1.0.2 unlocked with unlock-fast.pxl and restored to 1.1.1?

I ran into similar prob. 2 days ago.
I used the virginizer script from i.unlock.no - no problem.
I took the phone all the way up to 1.1.2 (just to have it ready for 1.1.3).
I wait for all minor issues with 1.1.3 JB to be patched up before upgrade.

did you upgraded to 1.1.2 without virginizing?

you have to virgnized because you have to get to 1.1.1 to run oktoprep then get to 1.1.2
in previous post, i mentioned that I use the script from i.unlock.no.
BTW, after upgrade to 1.1.1 - i used http://i.unlock.no to do the JB with phone connected to itunes (much more reliable than jailbreakme.com) and it put in the latest installer app for ya.

i googled for it.
let me see if I can get it from my laptop and put in on rapid for you.

Did you virginized in 1.0.2 or in 1.1.1?

try wininstaller to JB your 1.0.2, I just put it up on rapid.... for you
